  • What happens when I press the MyProtector button?
    An alert is sent to our 24/7 monitoring centre, where trained responders take action - including contacting family or emergency services if needed.
  • Is the MyProtector button waterproof or shower-safe?
    No - the button is rated IP55, which means it’s fine in the rain or around splashes, but we don’t recommend wearing it in the shower. For extra safety, you might consider keeping it within reach in a dry area nearby.
  • How do I set up my MyProtector system?
    Setup is quick and easy - just plug the system into a power socket and connect it to your internet router using the included Ethernet cable. It will automatically boot up and connect within minutes. If you’d prefer assistance, one of our engineers can help with setup.
  • How long do I press the button for?
    Press and hold the button for up to 3 seconds - or until the light turns green - to activate it successfully. If you’re unsure, just give it a firm press and hold until you see the green light.
  • Whats the customer support number if I get stuck?
    You can call us on 0333 188 9875 and we’ll make sure someone helps you as soon as possible. Our UK-based support team is available Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm. but don’t worry - our emergency response centre (ARC) is open 24/7 for urgent situations.
